Late Spring cleaning

I'm cleaning my Scrap Kit folder.... I've been cleaning for several days and see no end to it. =(

As you know I'm a huge freebie hunter, and now my Zip folder is huge and filled with unzipped kits, cause I haven't unzipped as I download... BAD GIRL!

I could be cleaning all summer...

A tip for you designers out there:
When you zip your kits, it would be nice if you zipped the whole folder. This way we could easily unzip them without having to create new folders. It would also be great if the folder you zipped wa called: Designers name - Kits name. This way we could easily keep track of your kits and have them collected in aphabetic order. It would be so much easier to track them when we want to use them. =)

Well, I better get back to "work"....

Some of my favourite scrap design sites!
I must admit I spend too much time on my PC which is filled with too much scrap. I have decided to list my favourite scrap sites. I am frequently visiting them because I love their styles and they are really talented designers! They deserve some credit for all their awsome work. Today I need to go and buy another extern hard drive. I've already got a 250 GB filled with scrap, family photos, music and films. I am planning on getting a 500 GB this time. Anyways, enough of my ramblings and on to the disigner sites....

Digitreats:
Pam is designing 3 ABC Album Kits - Run, Skip and Jump. Skip is the girly kit, Run is the boyish kit and Jump is for both girls and boys. Everything she creates for these kits she offers as freebies until they "fall off" the first page. They can still be purcased in her store so you can collect all of the great stuff she's made. I love her style and she is so creative! You can get to her store through her blog.

Imagine By Fran:
I have never seen scrap quite like Frans. She's got a unique style, and I just love it! She offers freebies and I am right there to collect, like the freebie hunter I am... Her blog is in French, but you can easily get around anyway.

Lisa Minor:
She offers wonderful freebies! Lisa is a very creative artist and she covers alot of different styles. That's why I love her work! She is very versatile. She also has a store called Scrap Debris, where she offers her expired freebies for max ONE DOLLAR per kit!

MK Designs:
This girl knows her scrap! Her style is verastile, but I love her dark, dreamy kits, like this one called Elegance (DL expired). She makes gorgeous elements and I just love them! She uses both natural and graphic elements in her kits. Check out her blog and her store.

Petit Moineaux:
PM is an amazing scrap designer! I just love her elements and she gets her color schemes just right. She offers freebies from time to time, but has great kits in her store. Go check them out here at Digital Crea! Her blog is in french, but you will have no problems finding your way around.

BooLandDesigns:
100 days of freebies is what's going on at Boo's blog these days. She offers new freebies every day for a 100 days to celebrate her grand fathers 100th birthday. In addition to the 100 day freebies she also offers freebie kits. And they are gorgeous!! Click your way over to her and see for yourself.

Shabby Princess:
There is absolutely nothing shabby about this princess, and the title doesn't justify her... LOL! She's got a great team and their scraps are amazing! I just love the style. They offer wonderful freebie kits and has a downloading site where you can grab new and older freebies. In their shop you can find the most gorgeous kits. For Adobe users there's a tutorial site.

Digital Anemona:
This Greek graphic designer and illustrator creates beautiful things! And she offers them as freebies for us all to enjoy! She hasn't been designing scraps for more than a few months, but I can clearly tell she's very good at it. As far as I can see, she covers a range of different styles and every little piece is perfect. She's definately worth a visit!

Raspberry Road Designs:
Susan is an amazing designer. She offers great freebies and she also has a Dollar Store where she offers her kits and a Retired Kits section! PS:I love her story about how she named it Raspberry Road designs... It's the cutest! Head over and read it!

OH NO! What have I done???

Hi everyone!
What on earth have I done? I am completely new to blogging, so go easy on me, ok? Hehe! I have long debated on creating a blog. I just couldn't decide. I was worried I wouldn't have anything to write, and that my life is so boring that no one would ever take interest in my blog. LOL! I decided to start blogging anyway, although I have no clue on where to begin.... They say writing is therapy, so I might just benefit from it. I think this could be addictive, cause I am already starting to like it. =) Also, blogging is a great way to tell my friends and family what's going on in my daily life without constantly having to bother them on the phone... LOL!

Who am I?
33 y.o. working mom. There, I said it! It's a nice number; 33. Don't you think?

I have a wonderful son. He is currently making me pull my hair out with his preteen tantrums, but I love him ! =D (If you have toddlers in the terrible 2s, you have alot to look forward to.... LOL!) He is awsome! He loves drawing and he is really good at it. He is amazing at creating lego stuff! He loves reading and of course his PlayStation...

I have a wonderful boyfriend. Oh, lucky me! Took me too many years, and kissing a few frogs before I was able to find my prince. And along with him I got two little princesses too! They are so cute! Being a "bonusmom" (I don't like the word "step") to two little girls, I finally have someone being girly with. Doing their hair, go shopping etc.

Where am I?
Born, raised and live in Scandinavia, so English is not my mother tounge. Bare with me, please.... My grammar is not the best although I use English alot. I love it, both writing and talking. I wanted to write in English on this blog so that my English speaking friends could take part in my life. Because of the huge differences in time zones we don't chat as often as I would like to.

What are my main hobby/ interest?
Digital scrapping! I love my Paint Shop Pro X!!! I started out with PSP7, making signaturetags for a forum I was in about 4 years ago. Looking back on my creations I clearly see I was horrible at it! I got better by trying and failing (mostly failing I'm afraid). I then got PSP9, then X, then XI which I hated, so I went back to X. For three years I spent too much time making signatur tags. I got nothing from it except the knowledge of using PSP. A couple of months ago I finally found good use of my knowledge, and started scrapping. Now all my family photos that has been stored on my hard drives comes to life through my scrapping. I will probably post some layouts here on my blog.
